Mazars organises the Tomorrow's Audit Hackathon: “Disrupt audit to meet stakeholders’ expectations”

A wide range of stakeholders in audit, technology experts and Mazars professionals from around the world, will come together on 26 and 27 June to imagine what audit could be in order to meet stakeholders’ expectations.

The Tomorrow’s Audit Hackathon is a Mazars initiative, to find ways to “Disrupt audit to meet stakeholders’ expectations”

Audit and assurance is at the heart of our business. This hackathon is evidence of our belief in and commitment to the essential role that audit plays in society, while recognising that audit needs to evolve.

Everything is changing, from the way technology is used and is impacting business, to new societal expectation on business conduct, and above all the paramount importance of trustworthiness. It is imperative for our profession to find alternative ways to deliver our service. It is in this spirit that Mazars is bringing together a wide range of stakeholders in audit, technology experts and Mazars professionals from around the world, will come together on 26 and 27 June to imagine what audit could be – without self-imposed constraints - in order to meet stakeholders’ expectations.

“We believe that the collaboration of audit professionals with stakeholders in audit and technology experts can bring about results that are capable of disrupting a market that has not evolved much since audit was first invented. In doing so we can reinvent our profession and create real value for our clients, our people and society.” David Herbinet, Global Head of Audit and Assurance.
